Kody was scared to death of it and it wasn't until she went on the Haunted Mansion Holiday all done up with the Nightmare Before Christmas stuff that she liked it. That transformed it for all of my kids and honestly I love it too.

That sounds really cool . I don't think my kids have ever seen that movie. I will have to get a copy for next month :thumbsup2

Your guess was absolutely correct!! We had a great time at TL. We didn't get there til after NOON though!! I'll explain later but it has to do with the WORST bus ride in history combined with another transfer. I seriously may write Disney a letter. Then when we were leaving TL, we had our longest wait for a bus yet...20 minutes or so. I told Mike when we were waiting that we were having "a bad bus day." We saw at least TWO of every OTHER RESORT before one for Pop came. Then there was a wheelchair.....but boom, another bus pulled up, and boy was he fast to load and hightailed it out of there!!

well gotta go...just showered and going to relax a few minutes before getting ready to go to DTD and eat Earl of Sandwich!!! :thumbsup2

:headache: for bad buses. Hope today is better. :thumbsup2 I love the Earl of Sandwich!

Boma breakfast gets a thumbs up from me and Mike (we've already done dinner there before and that gets a thumbs up as well)

And I have to admit I am enjoying a bit this morning too, along with my rice krispies...I snuck some mini muffins in my bag yesterday!! :rotfl2: (c'mon, I can't really eat $20 worth of breakfast food in one sitting )

You are killing me :lmao::lmao:

HAH! holy crap, check out Orlando news. They found a 'mysterious package' or something on one of the buses, so all the buses in the area got shut down until they could be checked. Waited on a cab for an hour at AK. Supposedly, some of the buses are running now, so we MIGHT be able to take a bus to MK and transfer on the monorail to GF for dinner. I hope. Unfortunately we don't have much time to relax here because of that bull*$%! Planned on swimming a bit and that's just what I'm going to do. Then I'll shower and get ready for dinner. We are going to be late but I'm sure they will take us considering the situation.

Ugh...I need a drink!!

Mysterious package? Hmm, hope it was just someone's souvenirs that they forgot...

(Cheri, after reading this I had a drink for you!!)

Ladies, ladies, ladies......:sad2:.

UJ RULE #1 While at the world "RENT A CAR" this is not an option or a maybe, its a must, a shall, an absolute !!!!!

Vacation time is precious time........waiting for buses is a waste of vacation time!!!!!!!

In a rental car you can have air conditioning blowing right at your face, you can ride with the windows open and breathe fresh air (not stinky armpit smell from the no bathing foreigner next to you on the bus!!:lmao:) , be at any park within 10 min. of walking out of your "on property" hotel room, you dont have the screaming mom to listen to, the crying baby who is wore out, the crying 7 year old cuz he didnt get the Star Wars toy,
You can go off property and buy beer much cheaper too!!!!:thumbsup2

For about $125 for the week it is worth every penny

OK now down off my soap box!!!!

He wasn't invited! :rotfl2:

J/K... he knows he is welcome at my house anytime... dontcha UJ? The kids love it when UJ comes to visit! ::yes::

I sent my sisters and my mom back to Tampa early. It rained every single day they were here! :sad2: Finally yesterday afternoon we all decided they should head back so they could have all day today in nicer weather. They got to go to the beach finally. I was sad to see them go but I am happy they got to salvage the rest of their trip. They fly back tomorrow afternoon! :sad1: I miss them already!!

Hi there!!

Love, I have no clue about boy scouts Loren never did them. I wish I could help.

I hope you got it all worked out and got your dinner. Maybe that was just someone's shopping bag they forgot.I hope you find out so you can share it with us. :lovestruc

my DH did boy scouts and loved it. but he was a geeky, socially shy kid who loved to camp, learn Mcgyver things, etc.

he stayed in it all the way to eagle scout...says he learned lots of things in boy scouts and it gave him a social outlet to make friends, set goals by earning badges, etc (since he wasn't into sports and too shy around girls this worked good for him...)

That's all I know!

Just have to kill my thunder dont you??:goodvibes

Well I could have just told the truth I guess

I am too cheap to rent a car :rotfl2:

Sorry to hear it rained so much

But am glad u still got to spend time with them :goodvibes

you guys (y'all) are too funny about the 'souvenirs'....I'm not sure if it was on a bus. I think it was in a maintenance loading dock or something. That's what Mike thought he heard anyway.

UJ it wouldn't be quicker for me because I'd constantly get lost! Just call me "Joe #2" :rotfl2:
(that's Nikki's hubby's name if you don't know already)

And I'm with Sharky a bit, I kinda like the buses sometimes. I don't have to worry about driving, and we can drink ALL we want and not worry one bit about getting into trouble!! Plus, it's quicker to get to Magic Kingdom by bus anyway.

Tomorrow we are gonna hit all 4 parks at some point. Do some things we missed for our last full day. 3 in the morning, then lunch (at PH probably), then DisneyQuest, then go to dinner at LTT, and finally back at #4--Epcot for EMHs! Hope it all works smoothly and as planned this time. :thumbsup2

I'm a car person myself. We did the buses one time and it was not a good thing for a mom and her two little ones trying to get back to a room at 1am. I remember kicking and jumping up and down on a broken stroller after missing my stop and having to carrying one sleeping child and drag one cranky child back to the cabin.

I totally agree on the being able to drink and not worry about who is going to drive home. :thumbsup2

Hi there!!

Love, I have no clue about boy scouts Loren never did them. I wish I could help.

My boys haven't wanted to do them either until this guy came to visit their class and made it sound all fun.

I am sure it will be a good experience for the boys. I was glad they wanted to try it since my DH and I both did scouts as a child. And Abby was a brownie for a couple years. What I did NOT plan on was being their den leader. :sad2:

I do not know a thing, but if you have to wear a uniform, we all want to see ;)

Don't hold your breath sister.

I wish it hadn't rained so much too but it was still wonderful to have them here. I love my family! :lovestruc

Woke up at midnight last night to the sound of violent vomiting coming from the kids bathroom... it was Abby. She was burning up with fever too. So she is home today. Never a dull moment! :guilty:
