Too funny that's what he said.

aw....:goodvibes

If Tomato offered to get up on his day off and get my kids ready for school I would stop dead in my tracks and say, "Alright mister, what did you do?"

Or better yet, "Who are you and what have you done with my Tomato?!?!"

:rotfl2:

You are too funny Nicole :rotfl:

praying that Tuesday shows nothing serious.

That's great about MotR. And yes, you really need that alone time with each other! Best of luck finding a great babysitter.

wow neat!! I wanna go there one day when I have kids

how scary! And reading that article, it's just a blessing you didn't get hit by the criminal or any cop cars!!

I once had a scary thing like that happen around me. Actually Mike was driving me to work this particular day. We were on a one way, in the left lane. Heard sirens and Mike got into the right lane -- thankfully he did because all of a sudden a car comes FLYING by in our left lane going the WRONG WAY! If we had still been in that lane, we would have most likely been killed, as the guy was going like 80 mph (in a 35, the wrong way) So I am thankful Mike was driving me to work that day and that he got over. After the guy flew by, we kinda got up on the right curb a little, and then 3 cop cars came flying behind the guy....ALL going the wrong way in a one way of course. I was so thankful to be alive that day. Sadly the officers were really endangering lives as well...
Thankfully there were no other cars around us, although I suspect that someone must've gotten hit a little further back.

Thats so scary Cheri. Glad everything turned out okay :goodvibes

Wow! So glad Mike made a good decision to go to the right. I swear sometimes, people just don't want to make room for sirens at all...they barely stop around here...

yea well, what made it a miracle is that the road curved up ahead (and trees blocking our view on the side) so we had no idea what was going on, we heard the sirens and then totally did not expect anyone to be coming in our direction up a one way!!!

Oh Cheri, that gave me the chills! So scary! I'm so glad that turned out the way it did!

Was just checking to see if this still open

Guess it is since I am posting on it :rotfl:

Wow, that is scary. I am a firm believer that there is a reason for everything and obviously there was a reason for Mike to be be driving that day.

What crazy stories about car chases - glad everyone came through it all right :goodvibes I had one pass me, but it was on the freeway and I just had to stay in the right lane and let the whole mess go speeding past.

Here's to not being an extra on an episode of "Scariest Police Chases"

And wow to you ladies - another 250 pages down - congrats :thumbsup2

Have a fantastic day!!! :yay: :cool1: :yay:

Kangaroos Run Amok
September 6, 2008, 10:50 pm — Ash
Ok, well, not really. These ones are trained to take school children to school every day, because in Australia, it’s cheaper to ride a kangaroo than it is to take a car. Most Australians don’t even own cars, that’s just propaganda we put out to make us seem as cool as the Americans.

I have a kangaroo. I call him Macky. He just ignores me most of the time.

Kangaroo transport isn’t as reliable as it sounds.
