Hey all.....pretty good weekend......had our little party.....went fine....I didnt take pictures.....sorry......Gave the one family a lot of good info.....the hubby (coworker of mine) just shook his head at me cuz I knew so much about disney.....thinks I'm messed up.....cuz one minute we are talking about Disney and the next talking about hunting!!!!! Oh well, thats me!!!!


Sat. Am I slept in and didnt hunt...went to a local High school vball final....our school lost... then came home raked and blew leaves back in to the woods from where they came!!! I then cooked everything for the taco bar......everything was good.....

All you ladies getting sick is scaring me that I'm going to come down with something right before the trip.....I better not!!!!!

For the next 6 weeks I dont work a full 40 hours !!! wooooo hooooo
with veterans day, deer hunting time, turkey day, disney trip.....I then work 1 full 40 hour week, then 2 weeks with 2 days off each for Christmas and New Years.....I love Nov. & December!!!!!!

If you are going to get sick do it now. You will still have plenty of time to get better

We survived Ida. She was an awful guest. She got us all wet, made a lot of noise with her wind and then left us with gray skies and rainy weather. I hope she isn't bothering Carla too much!

The boys and I are making cookies! Since we've been stuck inside all day we thought chocolate chip cookies were called for!

Hi there. I am better thank goodness. I didn't think I was ever going to survive the flu this time. I still have the nastiest cough. Scotty is so sore, he actually thought he would be able to go to work today. What a silly guy. sometimes I wonder.

Just wanted to let you all know that on the budget board there is a thread letting you know how to get both the BluRay+ DVD Combo packs for Monsters, Inc and Up, plus a 150 page Up adventure book with stickers for very little money. Mine came to $12 and change for all of that. Others have gotten all that for as little as $4.98...depends how many coupons you can get and whether your Target will let you use all of them.

Then you can go to the Disney movie site and get a free plush doll, too.

I'll save them for Christmas gifts!

Mostly...still have to get my LGMH and the stuff for the door done and pack all the tickets, schedule, jackets and shoes, etc.

DD4's temperature stayed at 99 all day today, then at 6:30pm it jumped to 103. We gave her more Tylenol and it's back to 100.

I'm really hoping just another day of rest will do wonders for her.

I won't put her in preschool tomorrow so she can rest some more.

I feel really tense with not knowing how she'll be and whether we'll get it. Trying to just go with the flow, but I hate not knowing.

Still a bit sick. My cough turned into sinus infection and beginning of an ear infection

That is my diagnosis, by the way

I called my doctors after hr line last night and he called in an antibiotic for me

I can already feel it working.....I think

Seriously, tired of being sick and want to nip this in bud and get better before Disney

Hello! How is everyone doing?

My favorite moment from the day....The kids had a whole thing to copy from the board for journal today about what Veteran's Day is. Then they were supposed to be writing about why we appreciate soldiers. A first grader calls me over to check her journal and the whole thing is about not eating meat, saving animals, the fact that her uncle is a vegetarian, and that she would be a vegetarian if she could still eat corn dogs. I'm reading it like what. the. heck?????? I asked her to explain it and she said "the board said to write about vegetarian's day." It was so cute and innocent. I loved it!

Getting ready to watch the Country Music Awards! Anyone else?
