Ok, this question is about the American Zoological Association (AZA) pin. It is my understanding that:
a. The organization's convention is held on a yearly basis.
b. When the AK park opened, it was held at WDW.
c. The AZA pin was issued in low numbers because it was given out to participants only.
d. The pin is therefore a one-time, special event one, rather than commemorative of the park's opening activities.
But I have heard a variety of statements on this one, and am not too sure that Pinpic's comments confirm its origin with accuracy. Can someone shed some light on this one before I just contact AZA or WDW directly?
