If WDW offerred a progressive meal, which do you think would be better? And what would be your choices?

A.) Worldshowcase - appetizer, main course, and dessert at three different restaurants.

B.) Monorail - same thing at three different resorts.

I'd pick the monorail because there'd be less walking (I'm sure others would like a stroll between courses). And here's my dream menu (wine flight optional):

Appy - Lump crab and citrus salad at California Grill
Main Course - Pomegranate Pork chop at Kona Cafe
Dessert - Almond-crusted cheesecake with cherry sauce at Narcoossee's

How about you?

A. World Showcase would be...
  • Aperitif = Frozen Lime Margarita, San Angel Inn
  • Appetizer = Cassolette d'escargots de Bourgogne au beurre persille, Chefs de France
  • Entree = Herb Crusted Prime Rib, Le Cellier
  • Dessert = Sticky Toffee Pudding, Rose and Crown
B. Monorail would be...
  • Appetizer = Jumbo Lump Crab and fresh Florida Citrus Salad, California Grill
  • Entree = Wild Striped Bass, Citricos
  • Warm Chocolate Almond Gateau, Narcoossee
Hmmm... hard choice between the two, but I think the World Showcase wins.

Aperitif? Ooooo, I didn't think of that, but that sounds lovely.

Okay, pre-dinner drink is also "included" in our progressive dining options.

Anyone else up for a traveling dinner (that doesn't include off-key Christmas carols and the loss of your best pot holders)?

oooh how fun! :goodvibes
World Showcase -
Appertif - grey goose slushie (france)
Appetizer - bread and dipping oil from Italy
Main Course - macaroni au gratin from france
Dessert - funnel cake from America - I know it's not TS but so good!
wow!! I am such a carbaholic!

Monorail -
Appertif - a cranberry concoction from California Grill - I can't remember what it was called!
Appetizer - warm rolls and butter from Citricos
Main Course - Chicken tenders, Parm. mashed potatoes and mac and cheese from Chef Mickey's
Dessert - Kiluea Torte from Kona Cafe

Though I agree, I would like the stroll between meals at World Showcase, I think I would rather have my monorail meal!

Anybody else want to stroll thru World Showcase, or hop on the monorail!!!!
