We are leaving next week and our food will be covered by free dining, but I'm still trying to figure out what we will spend on extras if there are any and tipping? There are three of us, so I was figuring about $100 for tips 7 days, plus another $100ish, does that seem about right?

Thanks, Erika

Depending on where you are dining, $100 may not be enough for tips. We didn't spend much money on things that weren't covered by dining plan. If you're staying onsite, you might want to budget in the refillable mugs.

$100 sounds low on tips for 7 table service meals. If you're all adults, I'd guess most of your meals will be in the $100 range so a 15-20% tip would run ~$20. So you'd be closer to needing ~$150 for tips.

The easiest thing may be to check out the menus of the restaurants you've chosen and just do a rough guesstimate on what your final bill may be.

When we did the DDP last time, we rarely bought anything out of pocket. A drink here, a bottle of water here, but not much.

We returned at the end of August and tipped $20-$25 per TS meal. We were four adults in Disney's eyes. Our bills were around $120-$170. No extra cocktails, only a bowl of cheese soup at LeCellier OOP.

I tip about $20 a TS. Then we bring money for cocktails and money to buy CS breakfast so we can use CS for lunch TS for dinner to get the best use out of the DDP then there may be extras we want like candy or whatever..
