Ok so on Amazon, what shows up on my computer screen as 'cobalt' is a lighter shade of blue....My computer screen is just off, right? it would be the dark blue I think of as cobalt if I actually ordered it?

(I know nothing about fiestaware.)

Yes, cobalt is a darker blue. There is no longer a lighter blue (periwinkle) made any more and peacock is a more vibrant blue. I would say that the lighting is probably bad in the photo, or they just have the wrong color in the picture.
Also, what are you looking to order? Amazon may not be your best deal if you are looking for one. Dillards is having a 25% off sale and Macy's is always putting it on sale and then I use coupons on top of that to save even more.
Another option is to order directly from the Homer Laughlin factory. They pack extremely well. http://www.fiestafactorydirect.com/

Just a disk pitcher. I don't have anything else cause I can't make any color decisions! :rotfl:

I have some, it's dark blue like navy. I have several colors. I like the white and navy together bt the white really shows knife marks.

I saw two colbalt plates at goodwill today but they were pretty scratched. Does it scratch easily?

We have been using our fiestaware daily for approximately 18 years, I would be happy to take some pictures for you.

Well, pictures aren't necessary, I will take your word for it. :) I take it that means you don't think they do scratch easily?

Actually the funny thing is I tried to take some pictures and with the flash you an actually see a few scratches, but for 18yo dishes they have held up wonderfully! You would never guess they are that old. :thumbsup2

We live right across from Homer Laughlin and our local italian festival has a stand of seconds where you toss disks to win. My entire living room floor is covered in odds and end fiesta. Just going to box it up and someday my kids will have a huge collection :lmao: Any fiesta lover would die to play this game. You can get a ton of stuff for $20 bucks. Not many other things for kids to do at the festival, so a yearly tradition.
