We have a quirky little tradition that we started completely unintentionally. We get there at park opening and head straight for the tiki room, then to Pirates. This started because of a mishap on our first trip, but continued because there is *never* anyone in the tiki room at rope drop, so we get the whole place to ourselves! My kids love it, so they asked if it could be our "thing". :rotfl:

That's adorable! :goodvibes

We always head to Tomorrowland first, to Space Mountain. If the line is 20 minutes or less, we get a fastpass then jump in the stand-by line. If the line is longer we just grab a fastpass and then head somewhere else, usually to New Orleans Square for Pirates and Mansion. And we always go through the right tunnel under train, no idea why. :)

We like to go straight to Big Thunder Mt. If the line is short, we right one. If not, grab a FP and head over to Pirates.

For my family, we usually head to Haunted Mansion as our first ride of the trip or to the French Market for a late lunch/early dinner. (Technically we walk through Adventureland, but we're heading for New Orleans Square!).

Always Tomorrowland first. Usually my friend and I head straight to Space Mountain for fastpasses, then head over to Matterhorn or back down to Buzz. Inevitably this is the land I spend the most time in.

My daughter does not like thrill rides, so we try to hit as many of the Fantasyland dark rides before the crowds show up. From there it's usually Toontown, and then Adventureland.

I love seeing so many different touring traditions! We go to Adventureland first, then work our way clockwise around the park. I guess it's a good thing not everybody does it that way :-)

Always Tiki Room followed by Jungle Cruise and then we continue the walk around and do things in order.

I was so excited to take DS to the Tiki room as his first Disney thing in September. It was pretty empty and he had some room to dance around to the music (he has autism and good luck stopping his mad dance moves once he decides to start) so it worked out great. Except that he sang the song for the entire day no matter what we did afterwards.

I am not sure how this tradition started but we ALWAYS head straight for a bugs land to see "Its tough to be a bug". For some reason that gives us the ultimate start to our trips. Just classic Disney effects, music, smells, sounds, queues..... Ahhhhhh I can't wait to go back.

Since I was a kid, my favorite land was Adventureland and I'd follow with a counterclockwise route around the Park. However, now that i have kids of my own, Fantasyland has become the must-do so we have end up there first.

We always head to Space Mt. at rope drop and get at least 2-3 rides in then head over to Indy, Big Thunder and then wherever our hearts take us. Last time we were there which was 2012 Space Mt. was down the whole week (as was BTMR) so we can't wait to ride Space Mt. on our upcoming trip!:woohoo:

We always head straight for Splash Mountain on our first day. Family favorite ride and holds so many special memories for us. On our next trip all of our youngest will be tall enough so we can all go on it together. I can't wait!

I already head left to frontierland and new Orleans square! I like to start my trip with pirates if possible

Fantasyland. Pretty much every time we go and start in DL, we have something to eat at the Blue Ribbon Bakery/Jolly Holiday Bakery and wait for my dad to arrive as we usually stay off property and he drops us off so we can put our dog in the kennel. Then, when I finish and he arrives, I take his ticket and everyone else's and I go get fastpasses for Big Thunder Mountain while walking through the castle entrance to Fantasyland instead of going through Frontierland (though this year I went through the Faire as it was new to me). It's the land that most encapsulates the Disney feel to me, so it's first ever time. Usually I'll hop on a dark ride if there's a short line as well after I get fastpasses.

We almost always do the grand circle in the Disneyland railroad the head to a ride that has a short line based on mouse wait or get a fast pass of some sort.

We head to New Orleans Square for breakfast at the River Belle, then Pirates and Haunted Mansion.

We do Space and Star Tours and then head to Adventureland and go clockwise around the park :)
