Do you ever get burnt out by going to Disney so often? Is the magic always there? I'm a Disney fanatic and go every year to Disneyland. It's so magical and I LOVE the rides. But I'm just wondering if the excitement is the same for people who go all the time. :goodvibes

My enjoyment is greater the more often that I go because it allows me to slow down and appreciate the details more. Sure, we don't get to do every ride/attraction that we like, but the fact that we will soon be back makes that perfectly fine.

100% AGREE!! Without an AP I always felt like I needed to get everything done in a day and would rush around. Now I still rush around but sometimes it is nice to take it slow. I love that if I go and only get an one or two rides, but instead spend the day shopping, people watching, or eating ice cream, I don't feel like it was a wasted trip. Now I feel like I missed magic before because I never slowed down.

we space out our visits to every other month or so, often skipping the "heavy tourist" months in the summer.

plus we have noticed that we are not under pressure to see and do everything all in one day, because we know we will be back. so if some attraction is closed, or too crowded, we just skip it and do something else.

it makes it a more plesant visit, than having to "commando" all the attractions and run from place to place. we actually relax on our short vacations to DLR.

I've had a Disneyland AP for the past several (almost 10 I think :scared1:), and now that I'm a SAHM it's not uncommon for my DD and I to go on a weekly basis. I still get a little thrill when I pass through the gates and onto Main Street, but I do have to admit that I have become bored with some of the 'eticket' attractions.

I totally get burned out at Disneyland. I go all the time and sometimes, I do nothing except play with my friends' babies.

Yes, there is a lot of detail. But having been an AP for years and now having a Silver Pass, sometimes I just enjoy the company of my friends over making sure I do Space one more time.

There isn't anything new for me to do, either. I can't wait for Carsland to open, frankly, but I'm afraid I'll overdo it right away.

What's a silver pass Handbag Lady?

We had DL AP's for 2 years, the girls and I did not get nor are we now burned out on going to DL but DBF sort of did. The girls and I are trying to figure out how to get back and get APs again but without a job that is not happening.....lol But we miss it. :)
