I forgot to mention that a good coffee flavored treat is to take some vanilla ice cream and sprinkle some instant coffee on it along with some of the Carnation liquid French Vanilla coffee creamer and some Hershey's chocolate syrup! MMM MMM!
TC - WE must share coffee-tastebuds!
My brother makes THE best Cowboy Coffee! We used to hike/camp alot & there's never been a cuppa as good as Al's campfire coffee -
Generally, I dislike the taste of a boiled coffee (gets bitter from burning the oils) But somehow that changes when you're outdoors on a crisp morning & the coffee has been cooked over a smouldering fire, in an ancient, banged up pot.....
LOL! Yeohhhh....where can I find some of this "Cowboy Coffee"...???? That sounds like some GOOD brew, in the crisp autumn air...yummmm.
I LOVE coffee too, drink it black, and cannot imagine a day without it. We used to grind our own beans, but the teens are drinking now too and it got too pricey to buy Starbucks {and we don't have a Dunkin Donuts close by }. Hmmm...gonna try the "8 O'Clock". Thanks TC!
for me. I buy Maxwell House or Folgers already ground, and it has to be in a can, and I only drink a Half a Cup a day! Gotta watch the BLOOD PRESSURE! Oh, and I do not have THAT many teeth to actually CHEW a coffee bean!
We also have the Cuisinart Grind and Brew. I adore that thing! I am currently using the coffee from Costco, First Colony Columbian. It's great and nice and strong like I love it.
I grind. My favorites are Gevalia Breakfast Blend and Hazelnut. I drink at least five cups a day, two to four in the morning, two in the afternoon, and one to two in the evening. I love coffe, but I've never eaten a bean!
