? for coupon users

To those of you who use coupons, how do you catorgize them to make use easy? I was thinking dog, house cleaners, etc. any others would be appreaciated. Thanks in advance for any help.

I bought a plastic accordian style 4"x10" organizer with tabs for each section from an office supply store. I labeled each tab front to back in the order I shop in the store:

empty - to hold coupons I pull out to use
produce (not very much in this one; marzetti's dressings, nuts, sometimes salad, so I also put things like gum, magazine, battery coupons in here, things near the register, basically)
paper
drug
cans/jars (sauce, PButter, soup)
boxes (pastas, mac and cheese...)
baking/coffee/juice
cereal
cleaning/pet
dairy
meat (some frozen goes in this one too..there are frozen cases in the meat dept. where I shop)
snacks/bread
frozen

I have a binder with baseball card pages. I want to say I have 12 pages and they have 9 pockets per page. I separate them into specific things we use often like cereal, granola, laundry detergent, etc. This allows me to keep them specific instead of a general category. I can go to a toothpaste slot instead of a health & beauty slot. I keep this in a bag with all of my reusable grocery bags. It has a front pocket and whenever I find a product with a coupon to match, I slip it into that front pocket.

I have a binder with baseball holder inserts.

I divided the inserts by food, then non-food items.

Beverages
Baking
Canned
Cereal
Frozen
Produce/Dairy...etc

Then:
Laundry
Household items
Medicine
Paper, wraps, foil...etc

Once you begin to see what coupons you use the most, it's easier to organize according to those categories. Those little coupon accordion wallets helped me get started. They have pre-printed tabs.

I do mine by row for my grocery store, especially since our stores weekly ads generally bunch tings in the same row near each other in the ad.
