? for Cape Cod DISers

My parents live in Dennis. My dad still uses dial-up. Ugh!!!

How do you connect to the internet....and who do you use? Any problems with them? Cost?

Mostly interested in a cheap DSL service for them.

I live on the mid Cape in Cotuit and I have a cable modem through Comcast. I haven't had any problems with them and they now offer phone service too.

Hi!

As you know I live in Dennis right up the street from your parents and use Comcast Cable, I"ve used them for years and love the service. If I ever have a problem they are here the same day or next day. They get an A+ for customer service.
I get the bundle pack with the internet, cable and digital voice phone so I can't help you on individual internet price.

www.comcast.com is the website, you can order everything online and I'm sure they list prices too.

Verizon DSL is also available in the area.

It did rain most of the day yesterday, this morning it's been lightly drizzling off and on.

My friend Nigel in Falmouth has DSL and is switching to Comcast because he hates dealing with Verizon. My cousins in Dennis have DSL and love it

My sister lives in Falmouth and uses Verizon DSL and likes it. My parents, before they moved, lived in Osterville, had Verizon DSL and nothing but trouble with it.

OK....that's EXACTLY why I'm wondering. My dad SWEARS he has phone problems due to Verizons equipment on Cape Cod. So I was wondering if their DSL service was anymore reliable.
