For APs, does 240 days for DAS expire with the ticket, or continue with renewal?

My daughter recently got approved for DAS for 240 days and we are APs, but our passes expire in a few months. We will likely renew- does the DAS stay, or will we have to reapply from scratch?

I applied for DAS in late May and my pass expired in August and I renewed then. It's still showing in the app and I was told the 120 days from when I initially applied (a date coming up in the next couple of weeks though I'm blanking on the exact one. Other than I need to reknew before my November trip.). So in my experience its for the 120 days and carries over as long as the pass is renewed

Since you can renew 60-days prior to the AP expiring, I would think the DAS pass would continue.

This is just a guess, but it makes sense....
- the 240 days would continue if the AP is renewed
- if the AP expires and is not renewed, the DAS would also expire

I was planning on renewing my pass early (expires in December), but didn’t have a chance before I called for DAS. My son was approved for 240 days from call, so DAS expires in June. We are planning on renewing and have another trip booked in March, but the CM never asked if we would renew. The DAS button also appeared after the call ended.
