I have never worn keens before but have been told they are wonderful for the parks. do you order your normal size, size up or size down?

Order 1/2 to 1 size larger. I normally wear a 7 1/2 or 8 (depending on the brand), and my Keen's are 8 1/2 and not big on me at all.

I got the Columbia Audacity to wear to WDW in October. They were wonderful! Super cute with capris. Even comfy without socks. Here's a link:

I wear a 9 and sometimes a 9 1/2. In Keens, I always need a 9 1/2. I have a pair of Keen sandals that I wore all around Disney last September and they were great.

If you are getting the newport then go a half larger. The venice was fine for me in my regular size(they run wider too so if you have a wide foot these would be more comfy) I have both but prefer the Venice. Sooo comfy and they grew on me with their cutieness factor.

DH and I will be at WDW in March for our third time, but this time around we are taking my family. I have a sister that's 9 and one that's 7 but i'm not worried about entertaining them. I am worried about my mom who is 46. I really want her to be able to relax and have a good time. Any advice on how to get an uptighty to unwind or anything special i could do, i would appreciate it!

Im thinking of picking up a pair of one of the Keen regular shoes or maryjanes. Anyone have a style they really like?

I don't have any but my kids both wear them. I absolutely love them, but they sure do make their feet stink. They wore the H2 all summer last year and they still look like new. Great shoes and I would love to get myself a pair this year.

I saw Keen flip flops at a nearby Marshall's last week in the clearance section for $10. They were the ones with the cover on the big toe. I didn't buy them but they had some so check ouy Marshall's if you have one nearby. I know they can be expensive. They also had lots of Clarks womens clogs on clearance as well.

just ordered these thanks to your reference! i can't wait! they will look cute with capris or shorts without looking clunky! i hope they don't rub without socks on.

I'm 50 and going with my 40 year old sister and her 8 year old son. We are super excited--so excited we aren't going until Dec 08 and I'm already spending lots of time reading these forums. I think she'll do fine or she or she wouldn't have wanted to go, would she? You might order her the planning CD to watch--it's free and full of info and really got me excited.

Do Keens make your feet sweat?

I love my keens!!! I bought a pair last year 3 weeks before my trip. I panicked when they came, I wore an 8 1/2 and they seemed tight. I wore them with my thick socks around the house and they stretched out fine. I am glad I didn't go too big. I wore them for two weeks at WDW and had no blisters. I have the Monterey style in Mickey red and black!! I live in them now, I wear them to the gym and in the Minnesota snow.

I am actually embarrassed to say how many pair I now have - but I have a very bad back condition and they are the one and only shoe that I can wear all day and never have a problem. The are mazingly comfortable. I wear 10's and buy 10's but I am probabyl a "small" 10. When I go to Disney I actually only take one pair of shoes - my Newports - they work for the parks all day, the pool, and everything else too.

PS - someone asked about shoes, other than the sandal. I wear the Saratoga to work pretty much everyday - wonderful!

I bought the columbia Audicity shoes from Zappos - thanks to your suggestion - and they are sooooooooooooooo super comfy, right out of the box and w/o socks also!

I have 3 pairs of Keen's and have always ordered a size 9 like I wear in everything else. I highly recommend them! I hardly ever wear anything else. I will warn you though, once you get used to your Keen's it will be hard to go back to anything else
