Check road conditions and plan an alternate route. Parts of I-95 is currently closed due to fires and smoke. Exit 156, the exit generally used for the resort, is currently closed.
Luckily RT 1 runs adjacent to the highway.

Thank you, Carol. As luck would have it we are headed to WDW today. Not sure if the highway is open yet. Guess I better check..!!

It was a mess. My DD had to work in Viera at noon. She left the house at 11:00. She finally made it to work a little before 2:00.

Lots of accidents on the back roads in Fellsmere. She saw at least 3 ambulances.

95 reopened last night. I guess the shoulder is still being used for fire fighting personnel and equipment.

It’s been windy here this week and I’m sure that didn’t help. I guess it’s about 40% contained. One firefighter has sustained minor injuries.
