For anyone there right now hows the weather?

So excited to be leaving on 4/19 but a little worried over the "I can't change it" forecast nonetheless! The weather seems to be showing clouds and a little rain or possible thunderstorms. I know this past weekend there was a system to deal with but how about now. Is there any sun in the sunshine state to be had I hope?

I arrived during Sunday night's thunderstorm and it's been raining every afternoon. The thunderstorms have been over some of the parks and lightning has caused some characters in outdoor venues to be sent backstage for safety reasons.

Expect very humid conditions with downpours in the afternoons. If CMs get pulled from outdoor locations, take cover too!

This is the beginning season for showers and thunderstorm activity, so may as well expect it and go with the flow!!

And for the pp, I'm a southerner, and yes, it can be very humid now, though not as bad as with the high heat index later.

I'm from CA where it is a beautiful time of year and pleasant... today is better than yesterday but still very humid to me. I've visited FL in June through October and I do agree, those other months are worse.

I live about an hour East of Disney. Today was really nice, but living on the coast I get a nice sea breeze. It is warming up but it's nothing compared to what it will be 2 months from now. Low to mid-80's. It was suppose to rain all weekend and all week but we've only seen a bit a rain in the overnight hours so far.

I was there on Saturday and it was gorgeous! Very warm, sunny, maybe a little humid. My Dad (lives in FL) kept commenting how it is unusually warm and more humid than normal for this time of year, but I thought it was quite comfortable. Enjoy your trip!

Here now ... Waiting for illuminations to start. First time for me in April, we usually go in August. It was really hot today and pretty humid in the early morning. The forecast showed a high percentage for rain and the weather was perfect and not a drop over Epcot.

You are really using a long range forecast here. I would not put too much faith in a forecast 2-3 weeks away.

I've been in October a few times towards the end and it was absolutely beautiful mid 80's no rain and last year was there the 2nd week of May and again we got so lucky with mid 80's and only rained once for a little while. It shows April to be a low rain month in Florida but again you never do know. Thanks for all the replies and for anyone still there feel free to jump in. I would also like to know if it's been sunny at all or just cloudy? According to the reports it's cloudy every day.

I'm curious about the sun too. It looks cloudy every day. I go every April for the last 10 years and never saw a gloomy forecast like this. We will be there April 16-25

Overcast/cloudy today @ 7:00a. Had been relatively sunnier on Monday and Tuesday mornings.

Folks, I live 2 miles from WDW. The weather for the past month or so has had rain in the forecast practically every day. In that time its actually rained twice.
