When I wrote a poem for the poetry contest, and my DH suggested I write one about "Nedding" for fun. I just wanted to share It's not my real entry

It’s a game of cruising,
That makes you rich.
Making many credits,
Without a hitch.
Just run down all the rocks,
Crash your boat in the docks,
May the credits never stop!

(Chorus 1)
Shrunken Ned, the wealthy guide,
Twenty credits for each ride,
Getting rich, I’ll never hide,
Nedding side by side.

Shrunken Ned’s the cruise guide,
The credit man.
‘Tween his shop and game,
I’m his biggest fan.
Getting rich every day,
Nedding it, all the way,
Shrunken Ned is here to stay!

Wrecking boats on Jungle Cruise,
Nedding credits is the news,
Crash the dock, you can not lose,
Shrunken Ned’s no ruse!

Thanks so much for the kind words. I actually sent in a real entry. I'll post it tomorrow on the thread for them. I don't think VMK would like an entry that goes on about the virtues of cheating the game for credits I just did it for fun, but I liked it so much, I had to share.

I wonder how many people did this. It was harder than I thought it would be. A poem isn't hard but a poem to the cadence of It's a Small World.....shudder
