I'm a band geek and loving it. I just got home from a band practice. An hour and a half with a sousaphone takes some getting used to, but it's fun. On Saturday, I have a competition. It'll take two and a half hours on th bus both ways, buit I hope we actually win.

me too. i also like drama but im not in chorus cause i have to take spanish.

It actually DOES take a gift to play.
I mean, yes you can be able to play it, but weather or not youre a natural at it, that you understand how its supposed to be harmonic to the other instruments even though you never get credit for being heard...

Its not just an instrument you can pick up and automatically get.

For however long my mom has known my dad *more then 20* she STILL cant get a note out of it.

for band i play alto sax

for drama club, i'm so excited about doing a haunted house where most of the town comes to see it i also get to be a part of a storybook hayride ( i'm a narrator, while one of my friends is redriding hood )
