we just got home from our 4th sailing 11/20/04 Magic and met A BUNCH of fellow "disers". I don't know about them but I had a blast.....I felt like I was at home, in different halls and bars and on excursions there was ALWAYS a "friendly face" not far away......JMHO!!!!!

I agree, we still keep in touch with fellow DIS'ers from our cruises in August 2003 and August 2004. We hope to be cruising with some of them again in August 2006. It all started with meeting here on the DIS!!!

I totally agree. We met some great DIS'ers on the DVC Member Cruise back in February 2003. Many of them have become friends and we are thrilled to be sailing with them again next September.

For our December cruise we've been chatting with our fellow cruisers since June of 2003! These people too have become friends. We've linked dining and have a number of fun things planned. I can't wait to "meet" them in person!

You are 100% correct....start the thread, get to know folks thru it, make a few plans to get together on the ship and then have a BLAST!
I know my family didn't hang with the DIS group as much as you did, but you are right that it was nice walking down the hallway or on the deck and seeing a friendly face....not that the CMs don't have a friendly face, but none of them can cut a rug like you can!

Have you decided to cruise with the Turkey Day Gang in 2005? We just bought DVC on the ship so I think we will head "home" next Thanksgiving.

It was great to meet you and your family! I'm sure the bartenders were glad when you left...they'd have plent of Miller Lite. ;-)

Hi: We met a bunch of great DIS families on the 9/18/04 Magic. Our first DIS meet was on Saturday at the Promenade Lounge. Some DISers missed the get together, but we ran into more DIS families throughout the week. Jan
