For all you AKL experts....a question

Can anyone tell me if there is a designated area for smokers ?? DH smokes, (never around my kids) so we always request a non smoking room.... but is there an area for smokers at the AKL, if so, where is it so I can request a room not to far from the designated area ?? Thanks for any help !!

I stayed at AKL in August. I am very sensitive to smoke and I don't remember any smoking areas indoors. I am pretty sure that there are several outside. One right outside the main entrance and one right outside the restaurant area.

I remember only one smoking area: On the walkway in front of the Gift Shop...you have to walk through it to get to the busses...PEEE-EEEEW.

And, if I remember correctly, smoking is NOT allowed on the balconies overlooking any of the savanahs.
