American Idol.........need your help!!
As many of you know, Diana DeGarmo is a classmate of my daughter. Diana is a Junior and my daughter is a senior at Shiloh High School.

Next Tuesday is the final performance night for AI, and voting night. Next Tuesday is also graduation night for Shiloh. We have 560ish kids graduating. Graduation starts at 8PM as does American Idol.

HELP!!

If you are a Diana fan and plan to vote............would you be willing to pick up the slack in voting? Since many of the voters will be "busy"?

I know this is silly, but hey, it's worth a try!!

I had heard ripplings about these Diana "drives"by her friends and family...I suppose all the contestants friends and family do as much but have heard the Diana camp is ultra-zealous.

Personally, these phon-a-thons rub me the wrong way and are a little insulting to the candidates, no?

Anyhow, all the kids these days have cell phones. You'll still see them with their ears "glued" to it for most of the 4 hour voting period.

I would love to vote for Diana... but I never can ever get through! I have given up a few times. Believe me, I try, but my fingers can only try so hard to push "send" botton! Yep, what a bad timing... Can't the school change the date of the graduation?!?!

I'm pretty sure it is true. I am a regular on that bulletin board as is the poster who made this request. She has been talking about Diana since before we even knew her. She is a good friend of her daughters.

I'm not saying that I think flooding the lines with calls is a good thing. I just wanted the Diana fans to know about her schools senior graduation the same night as the show/voting.

Shuttle buses will run to/ from Annistown Baptist Church and Shiloh High School for graduation on May25th. Beginning at 5:30pm. Gates open at 6:00pm, Graduation Ceremony begins at 8:00pm. Buses will shuttle back to Annistown at the end of the evening.

They also mention about Diana meeting at the school last week to tape for the show --- so it appears to be true.
