FOP with back issues

Has anyone rode FOP with back issues. We are heading to the world next week for our anniversary and was debating if I should try it. How much does it bounce you around. I've heard it compared to Soarin which I am fine riding.

It does not bounce you around. The movement is very similar to Soarin - you should be fine.

I have a bulged L4/5 and a fused C3/4 and go for bodywork (massage) two or three times a month for pain relief. I rode FOP last June with no problems and plan to ride it a few more times this November. You do have to hunch over the ride vehicle some so that could cause discomfort. YMMV

"Back issues" is a pretty broad category. I have some neck/back issues and had no problem at all. I could imagine some back problems where the need to lean/hunch forward throughout could cause a problem. Happy to give more specific thoughts if you're willing to share a bit more detail.

It is a very smooth ride. I don't recall any bouncing at all. It's just tilting motions

My son has permanent nerve damage in his spinal cord and can't ride coasters but was fine on FOP.

To echo the others, I have huge issues with my lumbar spine and have had a c3-c7 fusion and I did not have any issues with my back. When I had a spot on either of the far ends of the rooms I did have slight difficulty with my neck as I couldn't quite bend it up far enough to see everything, but it was only slightly bothersome and I still enjoyed the ride.

I have both neck/upper back issues and sciatica and rode FoP with no problems. As others have have said, the motion is smooth.
