FoP, Safari and ??? What are people picking

We have just finished our Fastpassess at 60 days out. First FOP we could score was 64 days in the afternoon with pretty clear availability upto day 67.

What I found unusual was the rarity of Safari fastpasses in the morning on all my park days pre day 64 -which is usually my 10:30 go-to. Conversely, Everest almost always available. Since Safari has such a high load capacity I was surprised to see this and had to adjust my touring strategy on all my AK days (we will go at least four times, if not five over 2 weeks).

My guess is that most guest are hitting Avatar and Safari in the morning, but not Everest? What's hoovering up all the third fastpasses - could it be an even spread?

Just seemed odd to me and wondered if anyone else had seen the same trend.

The hourly capacity on Expedition Everest is high at about 2,050/hour according to a couple of sites, which is probably why they have so many FP+ slots available. Do you know the capacity of Safari? I read that it is around 1,400/hour depending on what site you ask and how many vehicles they are running. I would think that Safari is the "signature" attraction of AK, and is appropriate for all ages (though not all health levels), so most people will absolutely go on Safari during a visit.

Toward the evening, the waits become very short on Expedition Everest and there's always a single rider line (if you don't mind being seated separately when in a group)... so that might lead some people not to choose EE.

Many people are rope dropping AK now. I can see why Safari would be a top second choice. Not everyone can ride EE. Kali River Rapids is probably a popular 3rd choice in the summer months.

We did FOP then over to Safari then Everest. Rapids and Dinosaur could be 4th/5th FP's if you time it right.

1: Navi, Safari, Kali
2: FoP, Safari, ROL
3: FoP, Everest, Dinosaur

I picked this for our 3 days in August. We are there for 2 weeks so we will hop to AK at night a few times. Hoping to catch some of the other rides as a 4th FP in the morning on days 2&3.

1- FOP, Dinosaur, ROL (this is our arrival day so FOP is at 4:55)
2- FOP, Safari, Dinosaur
3- FOP, Everest, Safari

I would switch things around if you really want to ride FOP. At 7am on 60 days out, you might, might be able to get an after 5pm fastpass for fop. 65-ish days out and you could get nearly any time.

I fastpass finding nemo so I can sit right where Dory and Marlon first meet, and because none of the other rides need fastpass. If I'm park hopping, I'll get my fastpasses for the other park.

PS, single rider for Everest never seems to be open. Flight of passage has a third line and a covered up sign that may someday become single rider.
