FOP for plus size

I'm currently planning a trip for my family next month and was wondering if anyone has knowledge/experience riding FOP as plus size. My dad is a full size man- XXL-XXXL shirt and about 42-44 waist and 6'2". I was wondering if he would have issues getting on or should we consider other options

I am a full size gal and was wondering if I would fit as well. There is a video that shows some tips on how to place yourself on the ride. That helped me a lot.

I went on it in September. I'm 5'11 and wear a size 20 - I had plenty of room. I think he'll be fine.

The biggest issue is calf size. If his calves are bigger than 21-22 inches, he probably won't be able to ride.

My DH is just over 300 LBs 6'3" tall and wears a 3X. He fit on FOP no problem

My DH is about 6'4" and wears 2XL shirts and 40" waist. He was able to ride, but both times we rode, he had to have the attendant manually do something with the back and leg restraints.

This - when we rode a few weeks ago, the attendant worked with a woman in our row for a few minutes - didn't know what was going on, thought maybe something was broken, but apparently could not get calf restraints to work. She ended up having to leave and said something about having to take the walk of shame - felt really bad for her - she was not an overly large woman either. My DD and I both commented after about being surprised, also because there was another woman in our row who was a little more heavyset who was apparently fine.
