FOP Evening magic Hours

About to leave for Disney tomorrow. Can anyone comment on FOP during Evening magic hours. Do they cut the line off at a certain point or not until Midnight? We might go over there one night and don't want to waste our time getting there at 11 if the line will be closed.

the next best place to stand in line is at Guest Relations.

They did over memorial day weekend so that's why I'm asking. I know I was one of the many people extremely unhappy about it.

There have been reports here that depending on how big the lines is. Some have said that if there is a 90 minute wait then they could shut the line down an hour before closing. They also said that if you are I. The queue you are good no matter how late it is.

I was there Saturday. I was planning to hop in line at the last minute, like you said. However, we had nothing else left to do by 9:30 so we checked the wait. Sign said 210 mins but I was skeptical as I couldn't even see where the line ended. I thought to myself that they may have inflated it artificially to deter more people from entering since official park close was 10pm and EMH 10-12. Based on that we hopped in line. Several times they announced that some of the bays weren't working and the wait may be longer. I knew with the FP return line finishing up around 10 or shortly after the standby would start moving. We stuck it out. Ended up done riding after 97 minutes. So that 97 mins was waiting in line, plus both preshow rooms, plus the ride. Obviously much less than 210. If we go again and don't have fp I will do the same thing again. Wait was posted 90 mins when we came out around 11pm. Not sure what the actual was at that point as we didn't ride again. When we were exiting the park I saw quite a few people just entering...I assume with the plan to hop into line for FoP...this was after 11:30.

I don't know about cutting off the line, but a few weeks ago we got in line at 10pm and the posted wait was 160 minutes. Actual wait was 90. It was worth it.
