footwear for winter - another question

We are arriving in England from Australia in late November. We are spending 1 week in Sherston (using it as a base for day trips), a couple of days in London and another week in a yet to be determined location. Then we are catching the eurostar to disneyland paris for 4 days, before a week in Paris and 2 weeks in Italy.

I have been reading the footwear threads with great interest and have decided to leaved purchasing waterproof snow? shoes until we arrive in England. Where would be the best shop to buy reasonably priced yet comfortable winter footwear as I don't want to waste alot of time shopping for shoes when on holiday? Thanks
