Footwear for Dis-con

I'm in the ready mode.....Got out the new tennis shoes.....need to get them broken in for all the walking adventures......unbroken in shoes will remain home----I've learned a lesson or two on previous trips: New shoes = blisters. All foot attire needs to be well broken in before it hits my suitcase. Well thats my story and I'm sticking to it.....And thats how I'm preparing for Dis-con as we speak. Sad sight --BRIGHT WHITE TENNIS SHOES just sitting here under the computer table---heaven forbid I might forget and wear them outside where they would get dirty. My family thinks I'm a little nutty.

I've been walking in the mornings....getting in shape for DIS-Con .....and I've been wearing my ECCO sandals since that's what I'll be wearing at DIS-Con. I'm sure I look silly 'walking' in sandals instead of 'walking shoes' but hey, I know what I'm doing! And it's good for me!

I need to go out and get new tennies. Every time I wash my DISCON I shoes, one more rip appears. But you know how we men are about throwing old stuff away.....

Disney cub---We have a saying around our house " I know I'll stay married forever---My husband never gets rid of anything" LOL ----Sorry--- getting rid of the shoes just made me think of that. Now be a good boy and keep the economy going---get the new shoes---you're helping out others----Feel better about buying the shoes now?

I got mine a few weeks ago and I need to start breaking them in too!!!! And I'm the same - I don't want to get them dirty yet!!!!! ROFL

My tennies are all broken in but I prefer my Birkies. They are my most comfortable shoes. Now I just have to hope it's not too cold to wear them

Yeah, Steve, we know how guys are about throwing things away. Kevin just called me while I was at the store to tell me to buy him some new underwear!! I almost fainted!! Of course, I still have to get him to throw the old ones away!!

Psssst......don't anyone tell him I'm on the DIS talking about his underwear, okay??

Well Figgie will be packing her good 'ol reliable Reef sandals and if it gets cold, I have socks with toes so that I can still wear my sandals.

Hee Hee.....my kids "love" them. Their black and silver knee socks with all 5 toes separated.

Zurg.........I could be the poster child for badshoe.com when I wear those socks and my sandals.

Tia, I'm wearing sandals too they're called Springers and they're specially for walking in I always have a pair for each WDW trip they're fantastic I prefer these to trainers and socks.
