i hate football.
I swear people use it as an excuse to go get drunk, start fights and carry knives. Honestly i'd fear for my life if i went to a game. Or if i had to use public transport or the motorway that day. Rugbys much nicer and the crowd tends to be more civil towards each other.
If i had to pick a team i'd pick Cardiff(because dan made me but whatever)
Oh snap, wait you mean american football don't you? Whoops clever one hazzi. Oh well little insight into the world of british(european, non-american?) football.
Actually, from my experiance, American Football isn't all that different.
I come from a family of diehard Giants fans.
I've gone to a couple games with my dad back in the day. Then again, because we have season tickets, everyone with us is obsessed with football. A couple of the men are downright nasty to the other teams, for a lack of appropriate terms. I'm not sure about the rest of the stadium, because we always sit in the same section.
However, knives aren't allowed to be brought into the stadium.
i highly doubt knives are allowed into any stadiums over here. It tends to be before they enter or as everyone exits or after in the pub. It's terrible! Whenever any major league games are played all you get in the news is football fans attacking other fans. I think we've been known to start fights abroad as well!
I stick to rugby, a more brutal sport but it's very civil in comparison.
