Football season rant!

I know there are a lot of ladies out there that like football but unfortunatly I am not one of them. I live in a house with 4 men and between the pre-game, the game, post-game, drafts and fantasy stuff I am about to loose my mind! AND the season just started!

Anyone else want to join my rant.

My condolences. I hate football. I really don't like sports at all. I wish you could come over here. We could make popcorn and watch HGTV.

I only liked football when my son played. TCM,Fox movie channel, HGTV, are some of my fallbacks during pigskin season. At least we have choices. I remember ony having 3 tv channels and they were all football.

I agree!!! I'm a college football fan and my whole family is SOOO READY FOR FOOTBALL!!

My proudest mommy moment was when I walked in and my then 15 year old was watching the Ohio State game all by herself!! She's even going to fly to Ohio for Labor Day weekend to go to a game!!


Right now my whole family is watching a baseball game "together" my DH and DD16 are at the Rangers game, I'm watching it on tv and DD18 is in her dorm room in Austin watching the game!

Well I was born and raised in PA so if I am forced to root for someone it would be the steelers. (purely out of obligation only) Of corse everyone around here is Titans fans. Good Grief!

I actually have gotten to enjoy my Sundays without DH. He has season tickets to the Jets.
He had then long before we met and got married.

i have 2 boys (in their 20's now btw) and I"M the one that watches FOOTBALL!! I get regulated to my room!! Of course I tend to be a screamer!! (well I do root for the BEARS!!)

Luckily we all, even DH loves Hockey!! GO BLACKHAWKS!!

Football season: it's the most wonderful time of the year. Noon to midnight on Saturdays in the fall - if I'm not attending a game, I'm watching games on TV. Hey, it's my only real vice.......

Me too! DH sells most of his tix because it's such an all day PITA to go to a game, and with the PSA thing for next year he is saying this is his last year.

Sunday is a holy day in our house... and we don't go to church! I keep telling him he should get the kids involved in watching so that eventually they will all watch the games and give me some peace, lol.

Not my dh. He goes to every game (unless there really is an important event going on) He just does not understand why people DON'T want to spend all day at the game instead of being home with their families!!
