Football game situation

Know this has nothing to do with Disney but my dad works with a guy named Eric and he has a son that's in my English class. Mr Eric asked if I wanted to go to the football game with his son. And I said it would sorta feel awkward cuz I like another guy and stuff and we've never talked before. And I said no and now I wanna go but my mom says too late!! Gah I feel so bad right now! :/ and he was offering to pick me up too! Help me!! Any advice?

Hm... Tough. I'd say it really isn't too late, I'm sure the boy would be very pleased if you would tell him you'd go. Point out not going would be worse than going and that it's polite to go. But make sure to be nice about it when you're making your point
