Foolish to not use EMH?

I like EMH am at AK especially. EE is my DSIL's favorite ride, which we rode 3 times before breakfast, leisurely character meal at Tusker House, then KS, The bird show, some shopping, Primeval Whirl, games in the Boneyard, an EE FP, and were about to ride Dinosaur when I finally succumbed to the heat at about 11:30a and needed to leave. We also did EMH am to ride ToT, RnRC and StarTours a couple of times each.

We planned our days, FP and meals around EMH mornings and evenings and never seemed to run into crowds that others have. We discovered we are break-in-the-middle-of-the-day people, so it really couldn't have worked out better for us.

I have never used EMH before. I do know that most of those crowd calendars use the EMH as part of their guidelines for which parks will be busiest. I would think that this could mean you could experience shorter wait times in parks that don't have any EMH than those that do- especially at rope drop (because everyone is at another park enjoying the EMH). Depending on your touring style (maybe hop to a late night EMH) after being at another park all day. There is just something twice as magical about an amusement park at night with all of the lights flashing and cooler temperatures. Either way, I feel like you still need a nap/rest in the afternoon to either recover from being at the parks so early, or to get you prepared to be in the parks very late.

We only use EMH at Magic Kingdom. It's totally worth it! The wait times are pretty much nonexistent. You can walk on so many rides. In fact, this past Saturday we only had a 10 minute wait for A&E during EMH.

We buy park hoppers specifically to make use of evening EMH. We will spend the day in one park, then head over to the park with EMH for a few "bonus" rides and a late night dessert
