Foolish, foolish Boy

We leave in 55 days for our long awaited trip to WDW. Carl's friend Dustin will be joining us for his very first trip to WDW.

So, this past week Carl was at Boy Scout camp and Dustin was at a Boy Scout High Adventure trek. One of the things they did was "rump bumping" (apparently involves going down some rapids on your bottom, on a life preserver of sorts). Anyway - foolish, foolish boy that he can be, Dustin has an accident and now has a badly sprained right ankle. (and goes to Boy Scout camp for two weeks as CIT starting tomorrow)

Here's hoping he'll heal up in time for our trip...I don't fancy pushing him around the parks in a wheelchair.......and he's a little too big for a stroller.

Prayers for a fast recovery. DS leaves tomorrow for a week at boy scout camp and they have been having really bad storms there so he is a little anxious. Ok, well maybe mom is the more anxious one but we will not tell him. Scouting is such an wonderful adventure for boys.

We leave in 55 days too and my son is bringing his best friend also (best friends 1st trip to WDW)! Crossing my toes that our group stays healthy...school sport practices start end of July

Boys will do stupid things! Problem is they don't see the consequences of their actions. My nephew went roller skating WITHOUT SOCKS the day before a WDW trip and had miserable blisters the whole week at Disney. On top of that, on our mid-week day at Disney Quest he developed such terrible motion sickness that he was disfunctional for a couple days. He was about 12 then. I still haven't forgiven him - it was um, almost 10 years ago!
