are they all the same pretty in terms of what they serve. I have crystal, chefs, and garden grille, all dinners---wondering if I should get rid of one. I did it mostly for my daughter and son (although 13 he loves all things disney) but im second guessing myself. Last yr we were so tired of the burgers, chicken strips of count serv so thats why now ive opted for the dining plan. I dont want to run into the same thing you know eating the same food over and over again.

I feel that they are pretty different. Crystal palace always seems a little more..."adventurous" to me. The recipes are a bit more gourmet, I think. Now, a lot of the "gravies" taste kid of the same to me. I call it "Disney Gravy." Tastes like it has marsala wine in it! I like it though!

Chef Mickey's was the least "adventurous" to me.

I feel each buffet has different food. CP has the best assortment of food. CM and 1900 Park Fare dinner was the worst for us. We are trying Garden Grill next trip (we are going for the characters not really for the meal...my son loves Chip/Dale and they used to be at Cape May - which has a good breakfast buffet).

We were there for the characters, not the food! I never had anything at the buffets that stood out to me, except the cold cereals at H&V, because it was different. I know we ate more food at CM than at CP, but we weren't in a hurry the night we were at CM, so that may have have something to do with it. I don't remember seeing green peas on the buffet anywhere but CM & DD likes those. Otherwise, she had chicken nuggets, pizza, mashed potatoes, mac n cheese. I'm sure adventurous eaters will find different things at each place. We're just not that adventurous! There was a carving station at CM. I don't remember if there was one at CP or not, but I'm sure others will let you know.

We had dinner at CP and CM this past trip and they were distinctly different in their offerings. As a PP mentioned, CP seems a bit more adventurous and gourmet (although nowhere near to a point of not being family friendly) and CM is more like typical home-cooking. We really enjoyed both meals - but if forced to choose to return to only one of the two it would be CP. If I remember correctly, GG is not a buffet ... rather it is a meal served family style where some of the ingredients are grown right at Epcot in The Land pavillion - so I imagine it would be distinctly different from CP and CM.

While they are similar there is enough differences in them to offer variety and not think you are eating the same thing over and over.

Like all of them have mashed potatoes, but each one has it's own spin on them. Like cream cheese, or parmasean cheese...stuff like that.

The meats are different as well. Even the strip loins (that replaced the prime rib) all have a slightly different flavor, whether it is marinated or spiced different.

The desserts are very different. Each one has a variety you don't see on the other ones.

I say stick with them, you will be fine.
