For those that have received theirs, did it come with the charging station?

It comes with a plug in if that is what you mean by charging station. Nothing other than that though.

I ordered the deli containers as well as the sealer. There was an adapter taped to the inside of one of the containers. Is this the adapter that you all are missing or are we supposed to have another one too? There was no adapter that came with my actual sealer.

I tried the sealer on on the ziploc bag and I must say I am less than enthusiastic with the results. Tons of air still in the bag.

I didn't order the deli container but the instructions that came with the sealer said adapter (included) so I e-mailed them and they apologized and said they would send me one.

It looks like there should be another adapter that goes on the end of the unit to use on the containers. Look at the instruction book and it shows another separate adapter.

Bumping this. I ordered this and received but haven't used them yet. Can this only be used with refrigerations? If so, I made a big mistake as I was really hoping to use with with freezing. If anyone knows and could shed some light I would greatly appreciate it.

If you look on the box there are letters on it. A works with the handheld and small foodsaver systems, B works with the large system. AB on the box will work with either system.

Once I bought the hand held, I started gettting emails from FoodSaver. They had some really great deals on the big systems. I thought I saw them for 60% off and they ended up around $60. I love my big foodsaver and they are well worth the money. If your a Sams/BJ/Costco shopper, they are great for freezing bulk meats.

Thanks, I will be on the lookout for the emails. Its just my DH and I and we end up throwing so much food out because I make 3 or 4 pieces of chicken because that was in the package. And nothing ever lasts in the freezer in the store packaging. I'm so excited.

We got our big one as a Christmas gift from my parents last year... LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!! We buy in bulk, separate meat, food save it and freeze... food save cheese, etc. We use it A LOT... My parents recently rented out their house and are full-time RV'ing, so I got them the hand-held for their RV!
