Sounds like a lot of you enjoy Disney for the restaurants and food choices as much as the rides! I can relate!! :thumbsup2 I thought I'd ask the experts for opinions on dining choices during our 2-day trip. Where would you eat lunch and dinner each day, along with any must have snacks!! I've heard the Blue Bayou mentioned, and have seen some of the pictures from the food thread/sticky. If we need reservations at any restaurant, what's the best way to do that - calling in advance (like now!) or just winging it at the parks and seeing what they have available?

Thanks!!
Jacque

Well, that depends a lot on what type of food you like, how much you want to spend, how much time you want to take out of your day to eat etc.

One can't miss is either dole whips or floats depending on which you like better.

If you want to eat at any table service restaurant, you can (and should) make priority seating reservations up to 60 days in advance. In DL, these restaurants include:

Blue Bayou
Cafe Orleans
Carnation Cafe (I would recommend lunch here)

(714) 781-DINE (3463)

We don't normally do table service, but enjoy counter service at:

French Market
Redd Rocket's Pizza Port
Bengal BBQ

White Water Snacks in the GCH is one of our favorite quiet retreats for a yummy and inexpensive meal. The portions are huge.

If you are a foodie like I am you'll want to try the Corndog cart on Main St. Right before you get to the hub on Main Street, off to the right side there is a cart that sells the BEST corndogs ever!

They are a MUST have whenever we go :)

IF you want a really nice meal, we ate at Steakhouse 55 this time and it was FABULOUS!! It was so good, best filet mignon I have had in years!! I definitely would not wing it though if you want to do a sit down meal, we made most of our PS's ahead and when we didn't there was not much left in June!
