Why is the "signature dining" so expensive? I was reading an article and it stated:

Dinner: $155.00 per person, plus tax, includes gratuity. Theme Park admission is not required. * The price for the Victoria & Albert's is $350 per person, plus tax, gratuity included.

Why? Is there something other than dinner included?

No, just dinner and wine.

We attended the V&A signature dinner last year. The dinner included very expensive, high-quality foods like lobster and real japanese kobe beef. They also served very expensive wines. That's why it was so expensive last year. I assume it will be about the same this year.

A lot of them will have a guest chef like Todd English also.

The one I went to was lunch, included 3 different hors d'oeuvres, four courses, cheese selection, and dessert, wine paired with everything plus served with the hors d'oeuvres, and presentations by the chefs and the vintner.

I can't imagine at the moment what it would have cost to go into Jiko and buy appetizers, 4 courses, cheese plate, and dessert, not to mention at least 7 glasses of wine.

The dinners are set up as events not just a meal...
For the quality and the wine its well worth the price tag

but i can totally understand if some people aren’t that into food
