Since we are buying AP's next year for the first time for our trip in May, I think I may have talked my husband into taking another trip in October for the F&W Festival to celebrate my birthday.

My question is my husband wants to bring my 14 year old son, since he and I share a birthday. He loves new foods as much as the rest of us. I know that it won't be a problem taking him around with us to the food booths but would it be a waste of money to take him to any ticketed events if I can get reservations. Or do they even allow children or teens to attend? Seems like alot of what you are paying for is the wine and not the food. I just hate to leave him alone in the room while we are out enjoying ourself.

My son enjoyed the F&W fest and tried things that really suprised me (he was only 10). However, we didn't do any of the ticketed events and I don't know if there are age restrictions-- so I'll give this the old bump up and see if someone else can help on that one.

I just made ressies for myself and son (16) for the "Party for the Sences" and asked about his age!

The person said that they can attend but must be 21 and have ID to drink!
One thing that suprised me was that they want you to have polo shirts, long pants and no sneakers, no T-shirts and shorts!

We also went 2 years ago when he was 14 and he really enjoyed himself. You'll have fun no matter what you do.;)
