Food/Wine Fest ?

Husband and I are so excited to be attending the F&W Fest for the first time alone this year! We will be there when Starship and the Beach Boys will be the main acts. Please tell me what you can about the concerts. How can we find out what time they begin, and how far ahead of the start time do you need to get there? We are trying to coordinate dinner res, etc.

The concerts are at 5:45.7:00 and 8:15 they usually last about 20-30 minutes and for the first concert they usually will let you in about 5:15. But depending on the following of the band some people will line up very early and I would fully expect that with the Beach Boys. Some concerts are more popular than others. I did find that catching the last concert I could usually find a good spot to watch Illuminations after. The concerts are held in the American Theater. The weekends will be a little more crowded since the locals like to attend these events. Just remember that some of the bands are not all the original, like some people expect to see Grace Slick with Starship and she is not, Mickey Thomas is though.
