Hi, my husband and I are going to DW in NOV(just found out thanks to business) and will hit the last wknd/wk of the F&W at Epcot - we've never been and would like to hear from anyone who has. We love food, appreciate ethnic specialties and are very excited. Our last visit was (too long ago) our honeymoon in 98, stayed at GF, dined at V&A...we are looking for other great experiences.
Is the F&W good for appetizer style eating as you walk around? I think I read that. Are there any special dining choices offered only during that festival. I haven't been able to find much on it.

Thanks for sharing your magic experiences...

We've been to the Food & Wine Festival for the last three years and absolutely love it!

They will have 20-25 booths representing different countries and regions set up around the World Showcase. Each booth will have 2-3 food offerings and a couple of wine choices. Most food items are in the $1-$4 range.

The portions are sample-sized, but big enough to share with one or two others (unless one of them is my nephew--then just give him the whole plate and get your own!).

Here is a link to the food items that will be available this year:

Food & Wine List

I hope you enjoy it--we always do!

A couple of additional questions about the F&W:

Can you watch them cook the foods right at the booths?

If not how is the freshness of the food?

Is wine sold throughout the park or at one central location?

Do the booths stay open till the park closes?

How are the crowds? We will be at WDW 11/8 thru 11/13 Friday thru Wednesday. Which would be the best days to go to miss the crowds. That same weekend is the soap thing at MGM. I am thinking EPCOT will be pretty empty because of that.

If you can watch them cook or not depends on the individual booth set up, if it is a perishable item, etc. I've never had a complaint about the freshness or quality of the items we've tried.

The booths open as WS is opening. Each booth has its own specialties including both food and beverage, be it wine, beer or a specialty drink. I seem to recall last year the booths closing as Illuminations started, which is the "official" park closing time. Some booth locations can be difficult to get to during the Tapestry of Nations parade.

That is the time of year we went last year, and found the crowds to be no problem. We were able to do what we wanted with limited waiting. As the evening hours approached the WS area got much more crowded as the other parks were closing and people were coming over to finish their day at EPCOT.

I'm looking forward to going next year!
