We just bought at SSR and are waiting for our closing. However, we were given 225 points for 06 as an incentive when we bought our 225 contract. We have until the end of August to bank 100% of our points. My question is this..if husband and I try to ditch the kids for a weekend during F&W, what might our chances be of getting a studio @ SSR or anywhere from maybe 10/5-10/9?
We were planning on banking and using them for a grad trip for son #1 in June, but thought that maybe we could get away B4?

Have you tried calling Member Services to see if anything is available? I realize that you haven't closed, so don't have a member number yet, but if you call and explain the situation they might be able to help.

But that's a very busy time of year because of the F&W Festival, so the chances aren't very good.

SSR is probably good. BC and BW are probably full!

I think every studio in the DVC is booked on 10/8 even SSR. I was on the wait list for a studio at SSR for that night for months and then decided to switch my whole reservation to a 1 bedroom. You might be able to book the other days on points and that night on cash and then waitlist. Hopefully the wait list will come through the closer we get to that date.

It would be doubtful to find a Studio for that weekend. But I would call MS in the morning. You might get lucky, someone may have cancelled. Good Luck! Don't give up, just keep calling.

We've been on the wait list for 2 studios for BW for 10/7 to 10/12 for months. We do have 2 studios at SSR for now, but hope the BW comes through as we're holding a 1 BR there (and SSR too). We'd rather be at the BW for F&W, but it doesn't look hopeful. We also want to keep our group together at the same resort. BC was all booked for months too.

Can't tell you about SSR.
