You can have food delivered. I can not speak for all resorts but in some resorts, you may have to pick it up in the lobby. But yes, you can have food delivered

Safety tip: Ask for recommendations of local eateries that deliver at the Guest Services desk. You may find flyers outside your room advertising pizza delivery; do not use those. They're more than likely a scam, and will steal your credit card number.

Not sure what you're looking for, but that have pizza at the resort and it's not bad (it's not great either, but comparable to dominoes). It'd prob be cheaper than paying for delivery. Just a thought.

Are there any good pizza or curry places that will deliver to my room that any one would recommend

I don't believe they would deliver to your room if you are at a value resort - you'll have to meet them out front or in the lobby. I only remember seeing info about pizza places too. I don't remember anything about any other types of food being delivered.

Someone else may pop in who knows more.

I have no experience myself with this but I do know that Pizza Hut & Flippers deliver to the resort lobbies. I've read good reviews about Flippers pizza & Pizza Hut is standard chain pizza delivery IMO but maybe better than the resort's pizza which I could barely get down one piece of...

I will only order from the flyers outside your room advertising pizza delivery if they take cash on pick from the lobby

Those flyers aren't from real pizza places. They're not going to take cash, or bring you a pizza for that matter. They're scammers who are only interested in getting your credit card numbers. Don't call those numbers at all.

We've done the pizza delivery run by the resorts. While it was not the best pizza, it was delivered hot, had lots of toppings, and was perfectly acceptable in taste. Of the major chains - Pizza Hut, Domino's, Papa Johns, Pizza Boli's, Little Caeser's, etc - we would have ranked it in the middle of the pack. It was overpriced, but given that we wanted it delivered to the room, it was late and we were exhausted, and we didn't want to walk a single extra step - it served its purpose well.

That's a good point, I'd forgotten that Disney has their own pizza delivery service. If you don't want to leave your room, it's a good option.

Giordano's delivers to the resort lobby, we've done it before at AKL. Pricey, but delicious. I would do food court pizza before Domino's etc-add in delivery fees and a tip and the cost isn't much different, nor is the quality much different.

We discovered Giordano's about 8 years ago on our trips to WDW. There is one place in all of Georgia that I know of, which is Atlanta, that has anywhere that serves the Chicago Deep Dish or stuffed pizza depending on what you call it, so we crave it when we go to WDW. All I know is that the sauce is on top, it has tons of cheese, and it is deep dish goodness. Giordano's has the best pizza I ever ate. We go there every visit now, as we will in 9 days. You gotta check 'em out if you have not already. They are awesome.

You can also get take out from the food court. They have lids that fit over the plates, so you can bring a tray back to the room if you don't want to eat in the food court (we do this at Pop sometimes when we're tired and it's noisy). And yes, the pizza at the food court isn't bad! Cheaper to just go over and carry it back to the room I think.
