So I have read a lot about room service foods and I know you can get burgers, pizza, fries during the day at Flo's, but is there anywhere that you can get chips, cookies (beside room service) or other snack type foods during the day? I know there is free ice cream but I have a 5 year old who doesn't like ice cream so just wondering what other sweets/snack type foods there might be available. Are there items like this at cabanas during lunch that you can take to save for later?

Thanks!

You can get cookies at Flo's, also. Don't really know about chips. What sort of snack foods are you looking for? Candy, popcorn, and such - from snack bars outside the theaters (extra cost). You can certainly pick up food in Cabanas and save it for later. They have cookies, cake, puddings, etc at the dessert section.

Anything salty! My son doesn't like a lot of sweets...he likes chips/pretzels/crackers.

Well, they have pretzels (the big ones) at the quick serve locations on the classic ships. Probably also on the Dream class.

French fries and option? They have those at Flo's.

There are little bags of Lay's chips at Flo's too. You could get some of those and put them in your room?

Perfect! He could live on chips all week. He does love fries but I was hoping for a non hot food option to snack on. I wasn't sure of all that was available at Flo's. Everything I had seen just had the hot food items.

We were on the Wonder in 2015 and all chips were "family/buffet style". No individual bags. We looked and asked everywhere because DD has allergies. If you are counting on Lays Chips, it might be a good idea to bring some from home.

You can also get crackers from Room Service if you are looking for those. We have ordered the All Hands on Deck platter with extra crackers (my kids wont eat most of the cheese, just crackers) and they have brought us a whole sleeve of crackers. It lasted us the remainder of the cruise.

We were pleasantly surprised to find the bags of Lay's chips on the Fantasy last week, since we also found only family/buffet style on the Magic in January. The one exception was on Castaway Cay where they were plentiful. After that, our head server also said we could request bagged chips from room service, but we didn't get a chance to do do since CC was the last full day of the cruise.

The pretzels seem to be going away. We got some on Wonder in December then Magic in January didn't have it. Several people have mentioned it. The pubs are selling pretzels.

The Wonder last week didn't have the pretzels anymore. They directed us to the pub onboard.

We always bring some bagged snacks in our luggage for our DD just in case she needs some in the movie theater or a quick in room snack. CC is a good source for chips but if it's your last stop, that would only be the last day.

We plan on bringing Pringles, licorice, chocolate bars etc just in case, we were so full on our last cruises we didn't snack at all only ordered cookies once from room service just to try it. We did stock up on chips at CC like others said. We ended up bringing them all home.

I am the same way! I have to have my salty snacks. I actually take the mini Pringles plastic packages! I get a pack of the assorted flavors and they are so easy to just throw in my pool bag and go! Happy snacking :-)
