Food Quality and Service

Has the quality of the food gone down since the inception of the Dining Plan ??? How about the service ???

I didn't think the food was that good before (but then I'm from New Orleans - Food Central) now I'm afraid that the Dining Plan will force the quality to plummet.

Disney had always had dining plans available. This one is just more reasonably priced and far more popular.

That said, we have done 2 DVC visits since the DDP became available. We have one visit scheduled using the DDP (since it is now available to DVC).

I have not noticed a decline in service or quality since the DDP started. I have noticed that some of the serving sizes seemed a little smaller (but still plenty of food), The lines at some of the CS places seemed longer, but that could reflect the season too--Star Wars Weekends and Christmas.

I have noticed a general decline in the quality of service at WDW over the last 10 years. This would include restaurants, housekeeping, etc. However....after our recent trip to Europe, DD appreciates life at home and at WDW!
