My family and I are going to Disney in July. We are trying to decide wether or not the silver add on package for meals is worth it. I am also a little confused on how it works. Has anyone done this and what do you think?

I do not have experience using the plan, but after doing a lot of research on these boards and others, the plan is not worth it for kids. I originally booked my package with the silver plan, but finally ended up dropping it. My kids are 8 & 11 so that was a factor in my decision. I didn't want to have to worry that I was getting my money's worth the whole time.

I think if I was going with all adults, the plan would be worth it. I know a lot of people posted that they enjoyed the plan because the meals were already taken care of. Note, though, that some of the more expensive things require 2 wishes!

I guess if you plan to eat a lot of fancy meals, maybe it's worth it. For me, it wouldn't be because I can eat at a food court instead. I'm there for the fun the parks provide, 100%, not for what kind of food I can eat. That can be done at home. Again, just my line of thinking. To each their own.

thanks for the replies. I appreciate it. I don't think the plan is worth it for us either. It just seemed as if I was missing something that made it worth it, but I guess not. With two small children we won't be doing a whole lot of expensive fancy dinners. :earseek
