Food / Parade help

Hi we are going to DLP for our second trip on 30/8/08 to 1/9/08. On the last night (monday) we want to book an evening time meal at Walts. Hopeing to catch a parade go down main street while we dine.
Can any recomend a good time to book to maximise our chances of getting a window seat, we dont mind a wait as we see this as the perfect way to end our holiday.

I see you are thinking of booking for the Monday 1st. I think the parade will have moved back to its earlier slot of 4pm (or recently its been as late as 5pm) as the summer season will be over. It should still be at 7.15pm on 30th and 31st so would you consider changing your plans to eat there on one of those evenings instead?

Whichever day you decide on, book for about 3/4 hour before the parade is due to start. That way if you are lucky and get a window seat you will be timing it just right.

I think i will change it to the 31/8/08 and book for 6:30, should give us enougth time to ensure a window seat. Which parade is it that passes?
Do you get a good view from Walts?

It'll be the Once Upon a Dream parade at that time.

We sat in the Frontierland room by the window and watched the old Wonderful World of Disney parade and it was great as the characters that were high up on the floats looked and waved in the window.

I think the other room that overlooks Main Street is ...... guess Main Street.

Good luck with getting a window seat. Maybe pop in earlier in the afternoon and beg for one? I'm hoping for one again when we go but the rest of the family say they would rather be sat in Adventureland or Fantasyland. At the moment it's 4 against 1.
Wonder who'll win??
