I am considering a short stay this October at BWV. I know there are a lot of restaurants on the BW, but I have young children and have learned from a current stay at AKL how convenient it is to have a food court handy. Is there anything like this at BWV?
Thanks!

Alas, no food court at BWV. But there is the Boardwalk Bakery, Seashore Sweets, a Fast Food kiosk and a Pizza window at Spoodles. Check www.wdwig.com for recent menus. Plus if worse comes to worse, you can order food to go at ESPN CLub. They have all the usual kid selections.......

I saw specifically at Boardwalk Bakery that they have sandwiches, not just bakery items. So you can have a meal there-that's going to be my first night meal on my next trip!

We stayed at BWV in June with 2 DS's, ages 4 and 6 mos. There was a kitchen in our 1 bedroom villa, so we actually ended up bringing food with us and eating it in our room. I don't know how convenient this would be for you, but for us it was much easier to have the food handy than it would have been to go to a food court to eat.

Hi
We will be staying in a studio, so we will have a refridgerator and a microwave, and I plan on fixing simple things. There will be times I am sure we will not want to go far for dinner.

We've stayed at BWV the past 3 years...we have a 1 1/2 yr old and 5 yr old...we sometimes order food to the room. We also buy the basics downstairs at the general store so we have some snacks and beverages. The snack bar by the pool sells PBJ sandwhiches which the kids loved. My DH would go down to the bakery almost every morning to buy assorted bkfst items and ESPN has a good kid-friendly menu. Enjoy!!

We took advantage of the Luna Park pool bar for our kids too. They have a couple of kids meals, juice boxes and pretzels too. We also bought yogarts and fruit cups at the bakery for healthy snacks (everything else is awesome there too!:p ). We did pizza from the take out window and hot dogs from the cart on the BW. ESPN is very kid friendly and you can order take out. Lastly, there is a general store on the BW with a small grocery section, I saw cereal, donuts, cheese, crackers, frozen pizzas etc...
