I have just recently started watching the Food Network some and I'm wondering if anyone else does? Specifically the show Cooking Thin. I just caught it for the first time today and thought it was great! :teeth: If you haven't seen it I would definitely recommend it. The episode I saw today featured her helping a Texas family learn to eat healthier but still enjoy foods that they liked. It was full of interesting information and I have TIVO all set to tape it every time it's on. :) It's amazing that I have more of an interest in cooking now than I did when we were eating anything we wanted. It's a challenge to continue to come up with new, healthy things and I have really enjoyed it. I'm addicted to Cooking Light magazine and have been buying up all of the old Annuals on Ebay and have yet to try a bad recipe. I'm amazed that healthy cooking can taste so good! ::yes:: It's great that there are so many outlets for learning to cook healthy!

I love Food Network but have never seen that show. Thanks for the tip!

George Stella is going to have a new show on tv food network
I checked on their website and I think it starts 5/9 or maybe 5/12
for any Atkins or Low Carbers it will be a low carb cooking show
He was on 48 hrs special his whole family lost over 500lbs
I think he personally lost 250 lbs or close to it

His wife and him are both chefs. He cooks & she bakes. I can't wait for that show.

I used to watch, and like, Cooking Light quite a lot, but over time the allure wore off. Initially, it was a novelty to have any show about food and health. What I found, though, is that Daelmans was a bit wishy-washy about things, perhaps in fear of alienating sponsors of the network.

i LOVE food network (and HGTV :))

but i usually watch shows like Unwrapped, Food Finds, Rachel Ray 30 mins, and those aren't healthy cooking! But that's ok I just enjoy cooking myself and love to watch it all

my DH is always like "why do you torture yourself?" but I don't see if that way; heavy greasy rich foods aren't all worth it anymore -- I love to watch how they make stuff and create artistic dishes
