A stupid question....do they allow you to bring in ANY food at WDW?

Last trip to DL a year ago, when searching our bags, they saw our stash of snacks and commented on it, but did not make us get rid of it...how strict are they at WDW???

Not really strict. Especially with people with children. Just don't try to bring in your Chef's Knife.

We've taken in everything from loaves of bread to bags of cookies and chips. Other than a joking comment or two about sharing with security or being hungry, nothing is ever said.

We also carry a cooler on the back of DS's wheelchair with water, juice boxes, lunchmeat, cheese, fruit cups.

As long as you don't bring in glass jars, I think you'll be fine.

We didnt have any issues bringing in food/drinks. we varied what we brought with us day-to-day; from sandwhiches, chips, fruit cups, snack bars; drinks were either bottled water or capri sun drinks.

The most popular snack we brought were the individually wrapped Twizzlers from Sams Club.
