Is any type of food or drink allowed to be taken into the parks?

We always take food and drinks in, security will go throught the bags but I've never had them stop us. Usually they just pick on you a little.

I always bring peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the kids along with chips and juice box. I bring all the stuff from home and make it up that morning in the hotel. I put them in a bag and hope they don't get too squashed. I've never had a problem with security in checking bags. And I have never had a problem with us sitting somewhere and eating. There have been times where they have eaten standing in line and again have had no problems. :)

I was not stopped when we made our first trip at the end of June. My big thing was taking juice boxes into the parks -- which came in handy in the heat. It probably saved us lots of money because we did not have to purchase so many beverages.

Security also kidded me when I brough my baby food jars in to the park. The bag klunked onto the table and he wanted to see what was inside and proceeded to want to pretend to eat the bannanas and cereal. I had to keep him away from DD because if she so much as saw a jar of food, she needed to have it immediately!

I carried 3-4 bottles of water a day to drink and to make up bottles. We also brought snacks like goldfish and such but we found that they did not each as often as we thought they would. There was to much to see and we even had to remind the older DD to eat at meals!
