Would anyone like to share with others on how much they spend on food for the length of there stay.... I was hoping 2000 was enough for 2 adults and 2 teens for 9 days.... :Pinkbounc  :rolleyes1

We budget $100 per day. Except where we do a character breakfast then it's $150. My husband cant stay away from the Corn Dog Cart. We are 2 adults and a 3 year old.

Im just trying to get an idea, as i have never been before. We are taking are first trip next month. I want to make sure i have enough money for food... :earsboy: thanks ...... :disrocks: You know how teens eat..lol

We always ate the free continental breakfast at our hotel. We would grab an apple for a morning snack, or have a granola bar.

For lunch we ate at the park.

Supper was sometimes at the park, or somewhere along Harbor Blvd.

There is a few places where we got an individual pizza with a garden salad for around $5, and the kids could share that. Or we would buy 3 orders of that for the four of us. We also found burgers to be around $5.00. Kids meals were around $4-$5. We usually drank water with our meals, or an occasional coke. We always had an afternoon snack of ice-cream or popcorn or something like that, and that sometimes cost around $3 a person. :mickeybar

You can check out some food prices here:

It really just depends how fancy you want to eat, where you eat, and how much you eat!!

I found the prices on Harbor to be just as expensive at inside the park, so don't count on leaving the park for cheaper meals!!
We ate at IHOP one morning, and it cost us over $30 for breakfast! And that is with 2 kids meals and I just had toast and juice!!

Have fun!

Counter service meals are about $7-8. Throw in a few sit-down meals and some off-site meals and you should still be well below budget. If you want to save some money on food, try eating in your room a few mornings or ordering pizza into your room for supper. There is a Homestyle Buffet a few blocks from Disney - that should fill up your teens and it is very reasonable.

We are at DL at the moment and just had a great dinner from McDonalds(believe it or not!)
We all had a grilled chicken salad plus 2 large fry's to share, for $4 something and paid with a 10% off voucher from Anaheim visitors centre site.
Just over 20 bucks for a family of 5 for a healthy dinner.

We budgeted $150 per day for food and are not spending close to that yet. We are doing Blue Bayou tomorrow and Gofy's on Fri, so that will bump the cost up!!

Thanks for sharing everyone. I think you all made me feel a bit better. I was told meals were very expensive. We are not big eaters or fancy eaters, so i think we should be ok... I cant wait to go... :goodvibes

We just returned and aren't big eaters. When we got a full meal sometimes my daughter and I split and had more than enough. I think Disney normally gives you way too much food on their meals (other than counter service).
